There was a young but grey-haired woman relaxing on a sofa by the fireplace. Drinking tea, reading a magazine about parenting, and stroking a small white-and-grey tabby cat that had come wandering in from the direction of the kitchen.

The cat was purring, and only the fact that she was human kept the woman from doing the same.

It's from Earth, but some things feel familiar to her.
